We are looking to appoint a positive, motivated and inspirational Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor for the Corporate Health and Safety department. As the successful post holder you will be responsible for providing subject matter expert advise and guidance in Health and Safety. You will ensure that the University continues to meet and exceed its statutory obligations and support our faculties and support services, both staff and students, to enable them to undertake their responsibilities effectively.
As a valued member of the University’s Corporate Health and Safety Team, supporting the development and implementation of strategic and operational frameworks which facilitate a positive health and safety culture and good practice in all matters relating to risk management, employee safety, student safety and safety improvement. Providing competent advice to faculties and support services on matters relating to health, safety and wellbeing ensuring that suitable and sufficient arrangements and processes are established throughout the organisation and are effective.
Through collaborative working support robust links and triangulated improvement of health, safety and wellbeing management and compliance. Contribute to the successful management and delivery of key functions of the Corporate Health and Safety team, ensuring effective interfaces with key stakeholders, faculties and services. Assisting to ensure the University meets its statutory Health and Safety legal obligations.
