Are you someone with skills in Leadership, Communication and Strategic & Analytical Thinking? Are you resilient and able to work collaboratively, on sensitive subjects, with a wide range of people and organisations? If so, this opportunity may be of interest.
The Executive Office is seeking to appoint a part-time Chair of an Interdepartmental Working Group (IDWG) to take forward further investigations into historical clerical child abuse (HCCA) in Northern Ireland. The Chair will lead and direct the commissioning of this work, and will steer the IDWG in providing advice to Ministers on next steps. An important part of the role will be engaging with individual HCCA victims and survivors and their representatives, to ensure that their voice is heard.
In order to apply you must have skills in the following areas: Leadership; Collaborative approach to work; Communication; Strategic and Analytical Thinking and Resilience.
The appointment is for an initial period of 12 months. This is a part time position, with a flexible working pattern. It is anticipated the Chair will work on average 2-3 days a month over the 12 month period.
The Chair will be paid at a rate of £600 for each full day (8 hour day) with part day work calculated on a pro-rata basis. Travel and subsistence costs incurred on business can also be claimed.
