About the role
As a Sports Coach/Cover Supervisor, you will have the exciting opportunity to transfer your passion for sports and coaching into the education sector. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and supervising classroom activities during teacher absences.
- Maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages student learning and participation.
- Building rapport with students and promoting positive behaviour management.
- Supporting students with their learning, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
- Adhering to school policies and procedures while fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Sport Coach you will:
- • Previous experience as a sports coach or educator, with a strong understanding of effective coaching techniques.
- • Enthusiasm for working with young people and a genuine desire to contribute to their education and personal development.
- • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
- • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage classroom activities effectively.
- • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings on both short and long-term placements.
