About Our Client

My client are an exciting, start-up media agency, based in the City of London. They are expanding quickly and after a recent expansion are looking to bring the processing team in-house.

Job Description

As the Accounts Payable Assistant your responsibilities will include:


  • Managing the accounts payable inbox
  • Posting invoices into Xero
  • Matching, batching and coding
  • Liaising with suppliers and resolving queries
  • Maintaining the AP ledger
  • Supporting administration
  • Preparing payments
  • Assisting credit card and expenses
  • Growth into: performing reconciliations, payment runs and assisting month end

The Successful Applicant

The successful Accounts Payable Assistant will have:

  • 3 months + experience in a finance or data entry position
  • Degree in relevant area and or studying AAT / ACCA / CIMA (highly desirable)
  • Experience using Xero (highly desirable) and excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
