Job Description
As the Accounts Payable Assistant your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the accounts payable inbox
- Posting invoices into Xero
- Matching, batching and coding
- Liaising with suppliers and resolving queries
- Maintaining the AP ledger
- Supporting administration
- Preparing payments
- Assisting credit card and expenses
- Growth into: performing reconciliations, payment runs and assisting month end
The Successful Applicant
The successful Accounts Payable Assistant will have:
- 3 months + experience in a finance or data entry position
- Degree in relevant area and or studying AAT / ACCA / CIMA (highly desirable)
- Experience using Xero (highly desirable) and excel
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
