Job Description
Key Responsibilities for the Marketing Officer:
Developing a communications plan for undergraduate and postgraduate prospective students and offer holders- Develop innovative conversion campaigns i.e email campaigns to prompt students through the application journey
- Support development of a conversion strategy to recruit students
- Segment audiences and tailor messages to create relevant and engaging communications for domestic and international enquirers, applicants, and offer holders.
- Plan the content direction including copy-writing and copy-editing existing content, key messaging and call to actions of email campaigns and report on individual and wider campaign success.
- Use the customer relationship management (CRM) and other marketing systems to manage communications with prospective students ensuring effective practices to manage data (GDPR compliance and CRM data cleaning) and campaigns
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimally use the CRM and make recommendations to support the applicant communication journey from enquiry to enrolment.
- Using your understanding of email marketing and customer / student conversion, provide creative solutions to meet conversion targets and objectives
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for the Marketing Officer role will:
- Have experience in delivering conversion activities or experience of communicating with a diverse range of prospective customers at different stages in their journey
- Have the ability to segment audiences and draw insights from data for reporting and optimisation of future activity
- Have experience of creating and updating web pages using a content management system or other web tools ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail
- Have experience of sourcing and creating content for marketing communications, including experience of writing copy for marketing communications
- Have demonstrable experience of developing and implementing marketing campaigns across a range of channels
- Be someone who can get stuck into market research
