Job overview

We are seeking a well-organised and highly motivated person to join our established mobile cleaning team. You must have the ability to work as part of a team or as an individual. Good communication skills are essential. Your main duties will involve cleaning departments throughout the county as part of a team. The candidate must be willing to undertake any mandatory training, and a valid driving licence is essential.

This is a full-time post, working 37.5 hours per week on a variety of shift patterns.

Main duties of the job

To be able to fulfil a substantial number of specialist internal/external cleaning/ environmental duties as part of a self-sufficient independent team at any Healthcare site in Cornwall.

To be able to work individually or as part of a small team in a professional manner with minimal day to day supervision, but under the direction of the Hotel Services Manager.

To work to agreed systems of work in a programme identified by the co-ordinator and developed with the host trust.

To communicate and interact successfully with all members of the host organisation during the day to day service delivery.

To conduct oneself in a professional manner.

To ensure that the highest standards are met within the agreed range of duties.

To be flexible in the working times that reflect the needs of the service, working times will be decided by the co-ordinator.
